RIVER KAYAKS, NATURE TRAILS AND MORE!
On the west side of the resort we are bordered by the north branch of the Au Sable River. Nature trails lead around the river on both sides. As you explore, look for wild tasty blueberries and rasberries. And if you are up for a real experience, take a kayak tour of the river. Be sure to check out Wilderness Island on the south end of the river. Maybe take a picnic lunch with you and enjoy the beauty and serenity of our natural setting!

SCUBA DIVING IN MICHIGAN
Believe it or not, Michigan has some of the msot exotic diving in the States! The Great Lakes are known for its gin clear water (albeit cool water) and fabulous ship wrecks. This year as part of your vacation, consider taking a day trip to tour and dive a shipwreck. A PAID Master Scuba Diver Trainer or staff will provide you with the experience of a lifetime. Start the morning with a Resort Course in our heated pool, enjoy lunch and then take off for an afternoon of exploration on the CH Johnson shipwreck lying in 15-30 feet of Lake Michigan.
